Meaghan has always had a love of music and an immense talent for singing. Self-taught on the guitar and piano, Meaghan has been honing her talents for over 25 years. Meaghan studied Opera performance during her undergraduate degree at Carleton University in Ottawa before completing her Bachelor of Education with concentrations in Music and Religion from the University of Ottawa in 2008. During her studies, She taught private vocal, piano and guitar lessons. Upon graduating from Teacher's College, Meaghan spent two years teaching music and drama at the Canadian International School of Egypt in Cairo, Egypt. In 2010, Meaghan moved to Belleville and currently is a secondary Music Teacher in the area.

Meaghan is an avid supporter of and participant in the local Arts community, having worked with the Belleville Theatre Guild as a member of the Board of Directors and as a cast member in the annual musical productions since her arrival in Belleville in 2010. Additionally, Meaghan has performed with Command Performance Choir, and has fronted some local bands, as well as being involved in music ministry at churches in the Quinte and Kingston areas.
